Ha yeah my son made similar, gotta put all that engineering training to use you know
Makes perfect sense to me. Going to share something that may look trite but just in case anything here helps - some quick practical steps that might work, even just to take the edge off the feeling. I’ve been there, Justin, sending you my very best wishes xx
This photo makes me happy. Huge son with tiny mother - 72 years apart, but always been great friends.
Son is inter-railing, doing the usual stuff of course - but has just arrived in Vienna and his immediate priority was to get to Prater Amusement Park where Harry Lime delivers his “Cuckoo clock” speech in The Third Man. That’s my boy.
Treated ourselves to an episode of Two Fat Ladies this morning, the is was the dessert they served to the barristers of Lincoln’s Inn.
Still buzzing from seeing @haringeyboroughfc.bsky.social clinch the title and promotion last night. 44 points from their last 48! Unforgettable scenes at Coles Park afterwards too - the relationship between the management, staff, players and fans is something damn special, lucky to be a part of it.
Here’s my grandma, taken on my dad’s 21st birthday (he was serving in India) - which makes her 46. Same age as Pink is now.
I’m sorry if your son didn’t draw The Vourdalak for your Mother’s Day card. (Our favourite watch together this year.)
I think you could call that seeing your glass half empty?! I bloody love mine, have used it to go to work, museums, theatre, football, pubs.
No cheating, your last saved picture of a celebrity is your therapist
Totally this. My kids will be quite relieved not to get party clips from me though. I of course also filmed the “Under the Moon of Love” scene - WHY can these people feel the rhythm of a waltz but not the beat of a pop song?
Just found this photo of my now-husband, aged 22. Clothes from Form on Castle Street, Norwich.
Try cat treats (the ones that come in a stick)? My mum with her regular visitor below…
Will definitely try this. Am on the Campari and soda with orange - cheers!
