We don’t have garlic this year but my in-laws do. And we‘re walking distance from a creek.
So I tried to make sweet bread in the machine today and forgot to add yeast. The result is still edible but I’m going to cut it into wafers to make biscotti. Maybe dip the top ends in dark chocolate. Put it in kids lunches.

Found this in the thrift store to read. It retails for $40 CDN but I got it for $10. It came out in 2023. I haven’t read it yet so please…don’t. Lol. I’ll let everyone know what I think after, but without spoiling anything lol. And yes, I know this character is in 6 other books before this one…
I do abstract art and framed some. I frame my kids artwork and put it on the fridge and the wall too. My family members were commercial artists at one point, but for me it’s just a sometime hobby.
My son’s obsessed; He always looks to see if a restaurant has one. Wants to go to cat island in Japan. He is also obsessed with Koi and wants a koi pond in our backyard lol. Maybe some goldfish though we gave ours away a while ago.They got to go live in a bigger pond. When they were being rehomed:
