I rebuilt a 10+ year-old creative writing prompt generator and added a writing mode, in case you get a prompt you like. This version runs on a tiny 8K transformer model, built from scratch and trained on data recycled from my old tool. Write out a scene: ras.ms/prompts

For any #gamedev looking for a simple approach to keeping branching stories under control, here's what I did for Above the Fold. It's basically a multiple-choice quiz, where the ending depends on how you score along the way. Easy to scale, you just need to make sure all endings are reachable.
Been using Obsidian for almost a year, and it’s still the best note taking app I’ve tried. It has a learning curve but it’s not very steep. Once you learn about plugins? Brand new rabbit hole uncovered! Here’s a graph view of my notes, clustered by links and colored by topic. Big yellow dot = work.
