One of my least favorite parts of becoming accustomed to my OCD diagnosis is realizing that the way in which I have problems is ENTIRELY different than other people:

"I have to make labels for prep"

"I need to clean, rinse, and sanitize these sauce pitchers. I can save resources by reusing the old stickers on the temp dishes. I have to figure out which dishes in the kitchen would be best suited for the amount of sauce to contain. Every dish I use to complete this task is a dish I HAVE to clean later. If I leave a mess for someone else then I have become the very thing I swore to destroy."
