new bass! it's a mitchell mb100 i picked up from my friend. plays very well, perfect action, brand new strings, sounding good. looking forward to using it on some new stuff~

did some experimenting with the @rootapp.com sdk and wrote a lil bot. its called 'hnbot' and delivers stories from hacker news when it's prompted planning on adding some more commands to it like 'ask' for ask HN, 'new' for new stories, 'show' for show HN, stuff like that

Aug. 23 'black moon' - a new moon phase where the moon is invisible to the naked eye, meaning a great time for stargazing and some astrophotography. glad the sky was nice and clear tonight here in Arkansas!
a few weeks ago, i switched the default launcher on my #lineageOS device from trebutchet to olauncher, a fantastic little minimal launcher. no icons everywhere! it matches the 'less-is-more' vibe of my desktop.
this assault on the open Web is and never was about "protecting the children". let's call it what it is - censorship.
