Clouds littering the blue sky while a solar eclipse was about to occur, but the clouds do look very dramatic, points for that at least.

Äntligen grå himmel och regn. Så många saker jag skulle kunna göra; rita, spela Dragon Age serien om från början, träna, gå promenad men nu blir det frukost och dagens första kop kaffe latté och en gammal britisk deckare serie på Britbox.

En brun skål med kvarg, havreghurt, fiberhavregryn, skivat banan, grovhakkade nötter, blåbär och en sked på ett vitt slitet soffbord. Till högre om skålen är en vit bodum kopp med gummi grepp med kaffe latté.

So I accidentally made The Scream for dinner? 😱😅 *Sigh* poor eggs didn't deserve this fate... 😔

Three eggs accidentally overfried, the two eggs on the top of the blue triangular plate look like eyes while the one below them has a an oval shape in the yellow overcooked yolk which is also hollow, resembling the mouth from the famous painting The Scream.

@maymaybe.bsky.social Progress so far but need a cuppa tea and some rest. I decided to go with the coloring instead of otlining with a grey pencil first. So here's a splash of coloring thus far ☺️

Looks a bit like a bit too much pink eye there but will hopefully be able to erase that later. Right now the eye is beginning to take form, added some darker green hues.

Added more color around the eye, both more prominant green above the eye to the left and also added black to the eyelashes and eyeshadow. Yellow and light pink added to the right of the eye and some blue outline for the eyebrow to the right. © Rayllainq April 2026

Added more details and hopefully will be able to begin on the eyebrow soon. I'm really enjoying this, it feels like it's been 84 years since I drew with pencils on paper!

Update: I just started after having spent an hour or more looking for good live pics of her without too many bedazzled details (her costumes are out of this world, wow!) but landed on a blurry piccie 😁 Anyway, squeezed the pencil tight before drawing finally began *cold sweat trickling down my back*

So, no Bloody red moon here but I did take pictures of the full moon with double rainbow colored halos on March 1st. The quality is not so good since I took them with my phone and no tripod (oval moon). Once I was ready with my real camera, the clouds were gone as were the halos ofc.

Shit aside (aka I know the World is ending as we know it) I saw Aurora Borealis with my own eyes yesterday evening for the first time & it was a magical moment, also frustrating because my tripod is broken. Luckily my teen brought their phone so these pics are theirs not mine!) in west Sweden! 🥳

Here's the semi-final result of my pumpkin carved Demon King from The Owl House. I noticed his eyes look like spectacles, I also need to carve deeper where his whiskers are, his arms, legs & the tail nearly dissappears in the dark so I'll see if I can correct that tomorrow. #TheOwlHouse #Halloween

Demon King from The Owl House carved into a pumpkin Halloween 2025. The horns and fangs are much brighter than everything else which looks so dark it's hard to see due to me getting tired and not carving deep enough where his eyes are, the arms and legs, the tail etc. So I will try to fix that tomorrow.

So, I discovered The Owl House recently thanks to my youngest teen and had to try and carve their favorite character (demon) King... Mistakes were made during the process but I've learned a lot and will make another pumpkin later 😅

To the top left is a copy of the reference image, below that is the paper case of the Wood Carving Tool Set and below that, various wood carving tools. At the top of the pumpkin is a plastic bag with regular pumpkin carving tools, two electric tea candles at the left of the plastic bag. To the right of the pumpkin there's a plate with pumpkin seeds and scraped out pumpkin remains, and below that a small sharp kitchen knife, a tape dispencer with tape, some used kitchen paper towels.

At the left on the wooden table is the printed copy of the King reference picture so I can see which depth I should cut the various layers in. In the center is the orange pumpkin now showing some of the cutting progress, like the horns have been cut all the way through because I want them to be the brightest colour, same with his mask fangs and one of the eyes reference image has been cut out to show where the right eye will be carved. To the right are some tools scattered.

After 3 days of interupted carving, paused for several hours at a time by sleep, dinner, chores and trick or treaters getting candy by the door, it's finally showing some serious progress... It's my first King carving so I'm somewhat happy with it haha. I did notice it eyes look like spectacles, but I'll see if I can remove the middle shadow tomorrow and hope that makes a difference.

Finally done with the photos of the Blood Moon from September 9th. I was experimenting with the ISO settings and the whole session probably took 1.5 hours or more, and first I went to a place where it turns out the moon wasn't visible! The quality is still awfull :D #BloodMoon #Nature #Nightsky

At the top there's a few leafs from the tree and 2/3 down at the center is a little red-ish full moon. The night sky was light teal at that time.

Got home half an hour ago taking pictures of the blood moon, unfortunately my tripod is broken so I leaned on the side a tree instead. This is a really crappy version 😁 taken with my phone from my Nikon display. I'll post more in better quality tomorrow when I have the time. #bloodmoon #nature

Finally home at 3am after the last day of Way Out West Fedtival 2025. Chappell Roan... Oh wow. Wow. WOW! So worth the wait and the hell it was driving to and from Gothenburg (I LOATHE driving in big cities, but had to or we would've been stranded there due to the train schedules). So, so worth it! 🥳

I did eventually find the churros, they're good - hot, crispy and soft inside, worth the 90 sek I spent on them 😋 However, I DO think 155 sek for one portion of food is ridiculously high. I opted to buy a tiny bag of mixed nuts instead though it cost 40 sek... #WayOutWest
