When I die I'd like to be turned into 40-80 smooth stones so my loved ones can hurl them through the windows of my enemies.
Megan and I bought a box of 65 random DVDs that were from RedBox and we are going to watch them all.
A view of the demolition of the Commercial Street bridge. Crews are working 24/7 to tear down the existing bridge. Right now they are removing the surface structure. Later in the week they will implode the remaining structure. After that they will work to slide the new bridge into place.
I think about the day I shot this photo a lot. It’s been over 10 years and I’ve never been on such an ethereal walk through a park since. #photography #nature #sunset #pennsylvania
when you launch fireworks in a dense neighborhood this is who you’re scaring
Today while gardening I encountered this blueish-grey isopod. I thought it was a species I've never seen before or even a genetic anomaly much like a blue lobster. This isopod is likely actually infected with the isopod iridovirus which causes this iridescent coloration & decreased responsiveness.
One of my last shots of the Commercial Street bridge before construction started. They are replacing the bridge by building the new one next to it. Over 25 days they will demolish the old one and slide in the new one. Anyone living in the Pittsburgh area has been bracing from the disruption.

Poked around the park with the Light L16 the other day. It’s a notoriously light hungry camera so I brought along the Godox MA5R LED light to fill my shots. They work well together but still doesn’t make up for the L16’s flaws (of which there are many) #photography #fern #nature
nightblooms Testing out the Godox MA5R in the garden. It’s a nifty little light and I’m looking forward to testing it out for macro shots. Might have to get a second one. #photography #nature #gardening #flowers

📷 Picked by my camera for the first time in a couple months to take pics of the shimmery flakes falling to the ground. Wish I could have stayed out longer but unfortunately work was calling. #snowflake #macrophotography #macro #photography #pennsylvania #eastcoastkin #nature #naturalist
Everyday the news gets stupider and darker, but at least I can take comfort it knowing it’s my dog’s birthday. Happy 7th birthday, Cooper!!!
