I'm very happy to have reached today's birthday 🎂🎁🎉 even if the numbers haven't made sense in a while lol.

I'm going to post this everywhere because I need help. Has anyone bought a cat carrier lately? Specifically a soft sided one that can hold cats that are long/currently 17ish pounds maybe still growing? Fergus desperately needs his official big boy carrier. I'll go up to $200 if I have to.

I don't think I've ever cried before a race today but seeing Kyle Busch's family at the track as he was being remembered got me. Nascar may not be perfect in many ways but the way so many fans get to interact with drivers and the way it's one big family when it matters are things they get right.

Something happened to one of the male mallards who visits my lake. It seems like it's a leg injury rather than just the foot. He's doing a little better using it to help hop on his good leg. I try to keep an eye out for him and give him a little extra cracked corn whenever I can.

Fergus and Jenny are still figuring out their relationship so I've learned to treasure the moments when his desire to be close to her outweighs his normal pesky little brother instincts that drive her away. You can see she does not believe that innocent look on his face lol.

I moved into my new apartment at the beginning of August. Today I finally opened up my big suitcase to get to all of my favorite hoodies and sweatshirts. I missed them and I definitely need them now.
