Great post, I feel for you. We had to put Max down 5 years ago at 16 because he had zero quality of life. We finally were ready to begin again and now have Jimmy. You’ll know if and when the time is right.

I did my first Camino in 2021 and am looking forward to my second this fall. Life changing in so many ways.
Thanks to this man, my dad, who wore the uniform with honor, used the GI Bill to get an education, and raise a family. He wasn’t perfect, but he was right about so many things and will always be my hero. He died when I was 14 but not before instilling in me a sense of honor and a love of country.
