Thought I'd check the Steam forums to see what they had to say about our anniversary, and was not disappointed. Somehow if there's anywhere even more unhinged than Facebook comment threads, it's the Steam discussion forums.
Oh wow, Tricky Towers was released 10 years ago. Time flies! I learned so much while working on this at WeirdBeard, and had such a great time with my colleagues. Only the 6 of us on the core team!
Ah, knew there was a photo somewhere. RIP Mr Neill 😭
Well, my feed delivered me this - so I think it's a sign for you..
Damn it, was halfway through overhauling (and deleting) a bunch of complex, non-intuitive code - then had a sick day. Have come back to it today (though perhaps should have had second sick day tbh..) and have no clue where I was up to. Yay for version control, but..
And actually they are touring Queensland soon - the fantastically named "From the River City to the Sea" tour. Love it.
Ah, there's more going on here. Warning for child loss.
Little shit stole my chair, and then proceeded to be so cute I can't even kick her out. Time to find a new chair...
Today's track a bit delayed. And same track as Monday except LIVE! Reliqa with Sariah 🤘🏼❤️
@jazzrozz.bsky.social just an autumnal dino garden update for you 😊
Thanks very much to @stateofplaynsw.bsky.social for their recent event in Sydney and letting me speak about how I think the local industry has changed (or not) over the last decade. And like all good Mediterraneans I am apparently incapable of speaking without my hands getting in on the action.
Our biggest ever bike bus today for World Bicycle Day! I think we had about 25 attendees! Huge thanks to @bicyclensw.bsky.social for co-organising and @kobishettymp.bsky.social for letting us cycle her to work at Parliament House this morning 😊
Local FB group complaining that the new traffic lights are bad for the environment because it causes cars to stop and idle longer 😑 Me: Guess what's actually even better for the environment everyone, and the bike path even bypasses the new traffic light 😁
There are also multiple Pokemon cars I see around here, not sure what's in the water! So many Nintendo legends!
This car parked near my house 😂 I think the sticker over the fuel cap is my favourite thing.
Oh, fuck me dead, I posted this before reading news that Tony Abbott is urging the government to properly join the war on the side of Israel and the US. How can anyone look at what is happening and still want to call Israel an ally? They are bombing civilians in multiple countries. War crimes!
April Fools can just get in the bin. My Facebook feed is full of jokes about transport that are actually great ideas. Cops joking about giving up patrol cars for bikes, "pedal lanes" on highways during the fuel crisis, the return of the Sydney monorail.
Our solar panels were installed yesterday, so exciting! Now I'm one of those dorks who checks the app all day to see how the power consumption is doing. Super interesting so far! Also feel way less guilty about using the air con now..
Very helpful, Yuki, I think I'll be able to solve that bug way easier now
I still think the least realistic part of Only Murders in the Building is Selena Gomez' character getting text responses from her old man buddies almost immediately. Trying to coordinate them tomorrow for a thing that has had a time change and.. just impossible. Also some of them don't even text.
What! Grolsch bike looks amazing. This one on the other hand...
Well, one benefit of the false fire alarm at work today was getting to see this pretty fire truck!
And this is why my MP can't get rid of me, here she is in this article showing how she ferries her kids (and dog) around. And calling for improvements to bike infrastructure.
Not sure how I got here in my life, but getting to attend meetings in Sydney Town Hall is cool, it's so beautiful inside.
It was the 20th anniversary celebration today of the local climate action group I'm a member of, and one of the other members created the artwork for these awesome banners!
