40th Anniversary screening of Transformers the Movie...for the win :-) Booked!
Repost with a picture of the very first game you remember playing! Ladies and gentlemen... I am old-ish.
Well! That was splendid. Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Meticulously researched, stunningly written, characters to root for and a romance to appreciate. What's not to like?
:-) The first one is a peyote cuff in 8s with hearts on it. It's going quite well. Eventually, I'll be contributing to a Beadworkers Guild competition entry under the topic "Sea Life".
Yay! Finished my #crossstitch #embroidery. Just need to wash it and frame it now! The next crafting thing is to learn #beadweaving from my wife and mother in law. :-)
Seriously worried about my Roxy dog. Apparently has pain in her back (according to the vet) and is on anti-inflammatory meds now. Don't like this. Don't like at all.
The Trojan Beaders were triumphant at the Beadworkers Guild awards on Saturday night, taking away the Members Choice Prize. #beading #beadworking #making I contributed the 3D printed structure and will be learning how to bead-weave this year! Guess the charmed operas!
#3dprinting this beast at the moment. 🙂 Final print of the Come From Away set for Sharnbrook Mill Theatre. #amdram #theatre
Do I know anyone who does beachcombing? I'm sorting out set pieces for a production of Come From Away. Part of the set we want is 2 big pieces of fishing net (trawler weave size)...
My Roxy is back where she likes to be after a couple of weeks away at the in laws. No complaints. :-)
Anyone want to buy a Pi in a keyboard for... checks notes... $150 more than it cost yesterday? That's insane!
I love World of Books. Means I get to expand my movie score collection without breaking the bank 🙂
Been reading Skipshock by Caroline O'Donoghue. It's SO good, I'm almost finished... Please stick the landing, please stick the landing, please stick the landing!
Oh dear... If the fight is militarily WON as you say... Then Donnie, why is the Strait of Homuz still under threat? Has a feel of "If winning isn't important...then, Commander, why keep score?" #trump
Having great fun creating a Cave Flyer game with Codex. Not for any reason, this is just for me. It's made using Python / PyGame. I'm tweaking manually as I go along, but using the VS Code/Codex plugin lead the way with my prompts. It's amazing what it can do, but I still wouldn't just "Ship it!"
Happy #WorldBookDay! (Not the UNESCO one, the other one). Just finished reading Weyward by Emilia Hart (4*, work book club). Started Skipshock by Caroline O'Donoghue. YA romance but I'm slightly bemused by what the heck is happening at the moment. It is fantasy, though, so to be expected!
Finally, I've uploaded the STLs and project file to MakerWorld for my #Psion Pi #raspberrypi Cyberdeck. All the links you need are at the bottom of this blog post. www.recantha.co.uk/blog/?page_i...
Before I start 3D modeling... Has anyone done a case or surround for the newish 5" official #RaspberryPi touch screen? I'm thinking a surround for the screen and a Pi attached to the back. But, hey, happy to put the work in if it doesn't exist!
More Psion Pi stuff - a friend suggested I add a carry handle ala Speak and Spell from the 1980s. I obliged and I love it :-)
