Spouse fell in love with this duck lamp from my grandfather’s house so it followed us home - we’ve named him Pierre after the duck in Love Birds because we are Mentally Ill™️

I should probably just get these reupholstered but this fabric is SO Stede-coded and I had a Stede aesthetic before OFMD existed, so I’m hoping that hitting them with a steam cleaner will be enough to brighten them up a bit

Drove across the state to pick up furniture from my grandfather’s house and while the Atlantic is gorgeous, I’m forever a gulf coast girlie (gn) Also: the van we rented has a pair of buttons on the back of the steering wheel to control the stereo and it felt like I was fingering the van’s nipples

Happy June 3rd, pirates! I celebrated by rescuing this waterlogged butterfly while feeding the feral pirate cats (spouse is more Stede-coded than I am but they’re also afraid of butterflies sooo)
When I spotted this at the vet’s office I almost fell out of my chair (inside babies had their annual checkup) (also Ed is doing soooo much better following the round of meds he got last week)
