While we are repeatedly being told that AI is about to make everything much better and easier, Apple Maps is telling me that I need to cross Barnes Bridge, do a small loop and then cross it again back to where I started in order to get to my destination. #AIsucks

I belong to @nationaltrust.org.uk just to go to Ham House whenever I like. The gardens and the exterior of the house are gorgeous. Once every few years I go inside the house too.

Next week I am fortunate to be seeing Balletboyz perform at @sadlerswells.bsky.social but today I was even more fortunate to sit in on their rehearsals at their Kingston studio for a couple of hours. It was all the sorts of magic you would expect it to be.

Quite an attractive entry for #FingerpostFriday but one that hardly qualifies as on the section of Thames Path from Richmond Lock to Kew Green there are no opportunities to turn off so the direction signs are pointless, the distances are useful though.
