The dress (with the rainbow gradient) can be really hard to try to figure out how to shade but I lowkey think I might be nailing it rn

I'd forgotten about this Musubi [Mew #PKG] I was working on! How's he looking??? I wonder if I should lighten the rainbow gradient a little more...

Digital coloring over a traditional drawing of a character in 3/4 view, anime or cartoony style. A slightly tanned character with light blue eyes and pale pink hair. The hair is styled in a long braid that wraps around the image, providing a frame and an endpoint around the character's knees.

They wear a pink skirt and headdress inspired by Shinto wedding veils. Worn over the skirt is a pale apron-esque dress with a circular pattern in a rainbow gradient.

The piece is unfinished, with several areas (most notably the hair) lacking shading.

Doing some sprite rips for Tenjo tonight! She's so cute man I'm so glad we had her playable. #BBDW

Three sprites from the game BlazBlue Alternative Dark War, featuring the character Tenjo Amanohokosaka. She has an overall purple color scheme with a shrine maiden motif, though more conservatively dressed than many anime examples of the same archetype. None of her skin is showing- not even her face, covered with a mask.

Terribly torn on whether or not to give her sleeves like Hibiki here or leave her shoulders out. I'm not sure the sleeves look good but also I worry the shoulder area has too much early Noel overlap. Maybe I should just focus on figuring out the veil and not worry about this rn lol

Last of my requests! Real talk??? I was not AT ALL prepared for how hard Xion was to draw!!! It turned out to be a really fun challenge. I tried to mess around with the shading, since her whole design is monochrome. Next time I'd like to round out her face a bit more.
