I've gifted my dad a keychain I carved into. The roots are his symbol, the bat is mine and the rose stands for my mum who passed away last year, so this is kinda a family symbol. Sadly the first one broke so I made a new one which I've finished today! #woodcarving #crafts #crafting

Direct comparison of watercolor ok different papers 1. Hahnemühle Bamboo Mixed Media 2. Hahnemühle Agave Watercolor 3. Hahnemühle cotton paper 3rd one definitely wins for the most vibrant color outcome (I used mostly the same colors on each one) #watercolor #watercolorPaper #traditionalArt

The second is mixed with 'pure' colors not containing white to make them look brighter. As you can see, it turned out much darker and you also see the difference on the paper. Ofc this doesn't really replace a pure black, but it's a good mixing practice #watercolor
