We should have the highest standard of healthcare for every American, regardless of zip code, race, or background. We can't get there without diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical training.
Building a workforce of medical providers who reflect the diversity of their patients actually saves lives. We should be talking about how to strengthen these programs and improve healthcare access and outcomes for people in Oregon and across the country.
