Protecting children at any and every level of education should be our priority! This week in the #PaHouse Education Committee we discussed ensuring safety for students who are in a cyber charter program. As a parent and a legislator, I just want to see our kids in a safe & caring environment.
Earlier this week I was privileged to deliver the opening prayer for the #PaHouse. I asked for guidance and focus to overcome the chaos and noise around us so that we can be better leaders and servants of the people.
Good news! The City of Philadelphia was awarded over $16 million in state funding to repave 9️⃣ roads throughout the city. Most are outside of our district, but the Baltimore Ave. segment runs just north of the 185th. Check the graphic for roads that might impact your commute. #InformationIsPower
