On Monday, ICE killed a beloved son and brother, Jesús Manuel Arenas-Silva. He had only been in ICE captivity for four days when he became 'unresponsive' on a transport bus in Georgia. His family had pleaded for him to be given his necessary medication, but ICE refused.

Masked ICE agents abducted an elderly woman on her way to chemo. She had stopped at a gas station because a pickup truck was following her. Agents then stormed out of the truck and detained her. Kidnapping elderly women on their way to life-saving care. This is what our tax dollars are paying for.

Someone has died an average of every 3 days this July because of federal agents who are supposed to protect us. From murdering our community members in broad daylight to chasing people to their deaths and neglecting medical emergencies, every cog in Trump's deportation machine is steeped in blood.

ICE just killed its third person this week. A 28-year-old was killed by ICE this morning in St. Augustine, FL. ICE recklessly chased him near a highway, causing a fatal collision with a tractor trailer. There must be a full, transparent, & impartial investigation led by an external organization.

ICE is trying to deport Victor Salgado Araujo, the brother of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and key witness to his murder by an ICE agent. We expect ICE to try and deport him as quickly as possible to prevent Victor from testifying in court -- and to retaliate against Lorenzo's family for wanting justice.

A father, husband, and neighbor. Just 26 years old. Joan Sebastian Guerrero was shot to death today by ICE while his wife and 3-year-old daughter watched. And now DHS is trying to cover it up. The state of Maine must launch a transparent, impartial investigation into this killing.

In October, Gov. Bill Lee said the National Guard being deployed to Tennessee would not be armed. Fast forward to July 2026. A young father is dead. He was killed by armed National Guard soldiers in Memphis.

Two National Guard soldiers opened fire on a former Tennessee State University student, 20 year old Tyrin Johnson, killing him on Sunday morning in Memphis after 4th of July celebrations had ended. Tyrin was a father, son, student, and friend. We're currently investigating & will provide updates.

ICE's strategy is shifting from warehouses to increased deportation flights. Sped-up deportation flights mean that more people will be denied due process. Deportations to "third countries" where people have never been, don't speak the language, and have no safety net, will also increase.

GEO Group secretly requested ICE change its rules to help them perpetuate 𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 - and ICE did. ICE's new standards no longer state that people in detention must be paid at least $1/per for their participation in "voluntary" labor. This means GEO Group will be able to get away with slavery.

GEO Group is suing Colorado to prevent health inspections at its ICE internment camp in Aurora, or its prospective camp in Hudson. Because they'd rather spend their money hiring lawyers than serving edible food to the people they hold captive.

In a letter to Congress, former ICE Director Todd Lyons wrote that ICE doesn't have an "official database" of protesters. But four paragraphs down, he admitted ICE collects information on U.S. citizens at protests & stores it as official government records in DHS systems. Potato, po-tah-to.

Imagine bragging that no one died in ICE captivity this May when 2026 is on track to break the record for most deaths in one year... On average, every week someone is dying in ICE captivity or shortly after due to officers releasing people into dangerous conditions without contacting family.

ICE just quietly rescinded the rule requiring them to report deaths within 30 days of release from custody. Meaning deaths like Nurul Amin Shah Alam's and Daphy Michel's, who were left to die by ICE/CBP in freezing temps, will only become more common. And we'll be less likely to know about them.

Mamuka Artmeladze, 43, died on June 4 in ICE captivity at the Winn ICE internment camp in Louisiana. He had no criminal history, yet he spent four months in ICE captivity without due process. He is the 50th person to die in ICE captivity since Trump's second term began last January (ABC).

GEO Group, a for-profit prison corporation with no prosecutorial authority, is filing charges against hunger strikers held captive inside Adelanto. A facility where people are denied safe food and water, or medical care. Where four people died due to medical neglect this year alone (Cal Matters).

Emanuel Rodrigues, a man with the life-threatening condition rhabdomyolysis which prevents him from walking, was held in solitary confinement inside Delaney Hall for nearly five months, or roughly 150 days. The UN prohibits any use of solitary confinement for over 15 consecutive days.

In a letter reviewed yesterday by L.A. Taco, 150 hunger strikers at the Adelanto ICE Processing Center expressed the horrific conditions they are forced to endure inside ICE captivity. Today is the 16th day of their hunger strike in protest of the violations of their constitutional & human rights.

The tally of people currently participating in a hunger/labor strike inside ICE captivity is almost 1000. For reference, between 2015 and 2020, approximately 1600 people held captive by ICE participated in a hunger strike. We're now seeing ~1000 people on hunger strike in just the past few weeks.
