After hiking 3 passes of the 4-Pass Loop trail in the Maroon Bells- Snowmass Wilderness, I’ve decided that I deserve Taco Bell and Kirklands Champagne. Also, this is how I do it:

It’s her 5th Birthday, which is insane. I need her to stay a baby. Anyway, I made her birthday duck.
Roux went on a bender last night and doesn’t know what day or time it is. She requests sprite and a greasy burger.
I finally took down the canvas of Bregman squatting that was hanging outside my office 😭 It was replaced by this amazing watercolor from Sarah Uhl, an artist based out of the western slope of Colorado.

I started and ended the year in Telluride and couldn’t be more enamored.
My ski instructor told me today that I need to get more upright in my turns and “push the bush.” Legendary advice, love her so much. Merry Christmas or whatever.

Made some cottage pies for the freezer and they turned out awesome.
Our first campsite was at Kebler Corner, right on Anthracite Creek. The dogs LOVED it, and it made it so easy to get into nature after work every day.
