Office Furniture Macy's Home Store at Delaware's Concord Mall, previously under the Strawbridge and Clothier banner. This space was originally an office building, attached to the mall's 1972 expansion. The store has since closed. #photos #deadmalls #reuse #photography #retail #delaware

The present day view of the same spot. G. Fox is long gone, having been replaced with multiple tenants since, the longest serving being Target, on the upper level. The basement food court is still there, but drab and dull after multiple remodels. Architecturally, the remainder of the mall remains the same minus some minor updates and new flooring.

The famous General Electric sign in Schenectady, NY is slated to be taken down starting today, and will be reassembled to more modern standards. The sign, first erected in 1926 is 167 feet long, and contains just under 1,400 bulbs spread out on 10 foot tall letters. #schenectady #newyork #signs
