Finished knitting the snowflakes that will become part of a Christmas decoration in our dining room, once December arrives. I plan to use fabric stiffener and then hang them from a string of lights in the 3 windows.
For #showmeyourknits texture week, this simple washcloth isn't the fanciest, but I really like the texture of that meandering seam.
We have quite a few in our neighborhood, and had a nest in our front door wreath. We put a note on the wreath instructing visitors to ring the bell and go towards the garage, and we'd open that door.
For the stripes week in #showmeyourknits , a shawl I made in 2024. I love the seafood stitch. This was the second one I'd made in this pattern. The pattern is on Ravelry (Marron by Madeleine Windsor) and it was done in one of Sweet Georgia Yarn's "Party of Five" collections.

This former feral joined us one day in 2021, bleeding and hungry, and never left. He's currently purring on my lap.
Just completed the 2025 temperature throw I've been knitting 1 row per day on since Jan. 1. Smudgie is curled up on it, and wishes you a happy new year.
Sam is already enjoying the temperature blanket, although the 365th and final row won't be added until tomorrow.
This former feral wouldn't let me pet him for over a year. Four years after adoption and he's very cuddly now! Here he is, snuggled up with his chin on my elbow.
Happy Halloween! Here's the temperature blanket, one month closer to completion. You can see at the top of the picture that the lighter teal, for temps in the upper 70s, gave way to the dark green (67 - 75), turquoise (57 - 66), and light gray (47- 56).
In other words, 20% of those surveyed have no earthly idea how anything works 🙄
Time for the temperature blanket update! One row per day,in a color chosen for that temperature range. As I chose shades of teal for warm temps, to match our home, September has been all teal. Bonus cat pic because Pip likes to know what's up.

It's the last day of June, and time for a temperature blanket update. I decided to rinse 6 months' worth of lint and cat hair out of it, and block the 1st half before moving to the second half. It should end up as a 62"x 32" lap robe/ throw.
This is my end of month report on my 2025 temperature blanket. I have started adding a crocheted edge in the teal that will, I think, end up being the dominant color. It's for temps from 75°- 84°. That's a chair on our porch, which is a lovely spot to knit on a spring day.
