Canadian prole, loving the west (best) coast life.
This is Sweetpea, our last cat, now passed. Rescued from SPCA just before... you know. She was a senior, very sick, in terrible pain from dental disease, cried constantly. They called her Miss Meow. We were able to give her a couple years of comfort, free of pain. She was a very sweet old lady.
Stunning, but they'd kill me now. My latest totally-not-sensible purchase...
A colleague puts this Sep.12, 2001 copy of the Globe & Mail out in the break room every year on this date. We all remember the day the world changed.
Farmers market haul for today - local, fresh, organic fruits and veg. Mmmm.
Watching Yamato at the Peacock theater, with the same treat...
I think I have the sister of your orchid. Mine's also back from the brink.
This sign at Jackson's General in Vancouver is why I stop in for beeswax candles. I'm not hungry, but I love the sentiment and want to support them.
My brother made me this cool little bug pin. You can see that the left front leg snapped off. I haven't told him yet, but was advised it will be 'a bugger' to fix without melting off the other legs. 😬
I used to see this pair hanging about my workplace. On this particularly fine morning, they were dancing.
