Mucking about with learning pixel art in a quiet work patch. Here's my mysterious cloaked and masked figure. Started off as kind of a ranger, but bows and arrows are next week. Not overly happy with the mask, but was fairly pleased with how the draping of the cloak came out for a first attempt.
One week and a lot of conversation later, he’s starting to open up to me. 🌱 Or maybe this is his brother, hard to be sure.

Anybody care to hazard a guess as to what, in an Edinburgh garden, might be munching ceanothus leaves. No signs of infestation, at all heights of the plant, stripped bare rather than chunks taken out. Notably the repens low lying ones are ignored, but this new upright one - DELICIOUS!
First blue flax flower since planting from seed… maybe early last year, maybe sometime year before that. 🌱
Once or twice a year it’s nice to wander through the tourist bits of Edinburgh and see all the people from all over the world who come here to marvel at the city. But once or twice a year is enough.

Snow-in-summer is a tank of a plant. Squat but spreading, but tall and thick enough not much gets above it. This is two years growth from seed. Lovely flowers, pleasant foliage, looks neat year-round. 10/10, would ground cover again. 🌱

Garden advice, 🌱 friends. Wisteria, planted last year, good early growth. To be trained along fence. Should I cut shoots coming in “wrong” direction or let them continue to contribute to general plant vigour and prune next year? TIA.
