With every up, there is a down. While I was able to get a small ride in, problems arose and I am going to have to return to the shop. Can’t get fuel. Might be stuck having to order another fuel pump. We shall see. Puppy is… well, I was so thrilled. Now, I’m just..accepting it for what it is.
Today was a great day. I went for a nice long ride, explored a bunch and had a lot fun. So much so my bike needed a nap. Didn’t even ask, just took one lol I’m fine, but broke my lever and hand guard. Was a massive pita picking it up though
Great news! The shop called w/r/t my Z1000 - they got all the work done and then it FINALLY did the problem I originally brought it in for! Sputtering and struggling to respond under throttle. Turns out my fuel pressure was struggling to get past 13psi (should be 43!). New pump on the way.🧡SOOOON🧡
I once “sped up” alongside a subie group and then followed them to their planned meetup spot and offered to take some photos. I have a bunch, but I like these two the most I think. I should edit these at some point

My Z1000 holds such a special place in my heart. I love this bike and have been through so much with it. Going through old photo albums and the longing to be in the saddle is only growing. Bike is in the shop... my fingers are crossed she can be repaired and it won't cost a body part to do so.
Pretty sure this was one of the things my exwife took from me, but I so badly would love to have it back in my collection. If any of you happen to find: The Dune Encyclopedia: The Complete, Authorized Guide and Companion to Frank Herbert's Masterpiece of the Imagination while thrifting lmk!
10 years ago I would never have believed I’d be living in Portland. PNW, maybe. But here I am. To be honest, I can’t imagine being anywhere else. I love PDX and for so many reasons. Friends, nature, the city, the zoo, so much more!! Pretty heckin thankful life brought me here :)
