Took my brother and his kiddos to see Supergirl (a re-watch for me) first time for them at the cinny as well. They dug it. Which warmed the cockles of my heart.

Went to see Christopher Nolan's take on "The Odyssey" at the cinny. Thought it was quite good -- even if the armor wasn't "period accurate" (period accurate armor for mythology seems kind of ... moot anyway and Mycenean armor actually resembled trash cans -- which would be funny, but ...)

Also too our dog Archie to the vet as he's been having a bit of a "ruff" summer with eye issues

Poor Archie Pup (a black and white dog) looks sad to be wearing a cone to protect his sore eye. But he is comfily ensconced on the sofa and leaning on an additional blue and white pillow (plus getting lots of extra treats, love and scritchies), so there's that.

Stuff I did on my summer staycation (a thread - with photos!): Went to Monticello for the first time in a long while (probably early 2000s). Enjoyed not one but TWO good tours - one about Jefferson's relationship with John Adams and one about enslaved people at Monticello. #HistoricHouseMuseum
