I guess I'm like Paul Skenes - dreamed of flying military but was also good at baseball. But I said I only have 1 chance to serve my country, and at 17 I set down my glove and walked into the recruiters office. I made the right choice. Oh and Fly Navy!

Rode Fred Hutch's 100-mile Obliteride on Saturday. It hurt both physically and emotionally but there was so much love and support to make cancer support life a little easier today. The 12 yr old, calling his shot. "In 2 years, we climb that route (NW face)" I so love stretch goals with a side of fear of failure. Got me through a 160 mile bike ride last month and it'll get us through 24 pitches up Half Dome in 2 years. Training starts NOW.
