Tweet from Ryan grim: NEW: Politico knew at the time of publication precisely what Jenny Racicot texted to Graham Platner but deliberately omitted it from their article. Racicot, according to the lead Politico reporter on the story, told Platner she “needed her glute massaged.” He told her he was coming right over; she responded by telling him not to do so, but he came over quickly.

Whether this detail is important to you or not, it is a shocking breach of journalistic ethics by Politico and CNN not to include it in their coverage. Story at Drop Site to follow.

Mr. Platner, who had overlapping relationships with other women while he and Ms. Fifield dated, also referred to women as “hatchet wounds,” Ms. Fifield said, a crude term for female anatomy.

"If he was to step down it would only be with a guarantee of being replaced by a candidate who he believes is true to the values and vision and policy agenda of the campaign that Maine voted for," said the person, who was granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the discussions publicly.

I love how the production team had spent 15 episodes trying to evoke a 70s vibe, and yet when presented with a scene set in 1981 they gave us pure 2007

A screen cap from an episode of lost in which Juliette’s parents are explaining to her that they’re getting a divorce. I can’t emphasize enough how Tuscan beige era the whole set is. Also, the actors playing these parents are completely in 2007 garb. The mom’s hair is so flat not in an un flattering way just a very non-1980s way and the guy is wearing a sweater.

Hughes (August 8, 1875 – June 25, 1939); the affair was covered in local newspapers at the time.[15] Fontaine gave birth to her and Riggitano's first son, John Centi—the uncle of Leo XIV—on July 23, 1917, and to Leo XIV's father, Louis, in 1920. The couple gave both boys the surname "Prevost" at birth and adopted it themselves; it had been Fontaine's mother's maiden name.
