I deaconed for +Smitha last night at Taizé. A pilgrim was shocked to discover I was a priest and robed as I had been wearing a Metallica T-shirt earlier. I have repented. And I will dig out the Ride the Lightning t-shirt from the bottom of my rucksack for tomorrow.

Spent the day wearing a suit. Probably the fifth day I’ve worn a suit in the last twenty years. One of the key criteria I set for career success is that I don’t wear a suit. Suits. Meh.

40 days of positivity. Day 9 of #lent? Every Christmas/Birthday present I buy mum now she’s on her own is for something cultured where we get to spend time together. She loves Shakespeare and all that cultured stuff. And I’m starting to understand it too.

40 Days of Positivity in Photo. Day 3 I love cooking. Time passses so quick whilst I’m remembering the recipe and faffing with ingredients. Tonight’s cassoulet - a before picture. Stuck it in the oven a few hours ago. FYI: I have the same rules for measuring wine in recipes as I do garlic.
40 days of positivity. Day two, the photo. This is my cat. There are many like him, but this one is mine. My cat is my best friend. He is my life. He’s been quite ill for the last month but now he’s a constant munching machine. So rejoice and be glad!
