A great day for San Clemente - which you can get to via train, we’re stopped at the station right at the foot of the pier. (This was the destination of my very first train trip in 1983.)

MHA now brings in maybe 6% of affordable housing dollars, while leaving thousands of homes that are ready to begin construction sitting there unbuilt. City Hall needs to ignore the critics, who are wrong on the basic facts, and move ahead with the MHA Housing Accelerator proposal.

OK, this from the T-Mobile exec is absurd. WA’s recent taxes are on rich people, not on big corporations. The capital gains tax, the millionaires tax, both are on wealthy *people*. It has zero impact on business predictability. washingtonstatestandard.com/2026/06/25/w...

Xavier Becerra did indeed pass the GOP candidates in the Inland Empire counties (San Bernardino and Riverside). I continue to expect his victory in November to be the biggest by a #CAGov candidate since at least 1950.
Becerra just took a notable lead over Hilton in San Bernardino County and is close to overtaking Bianco in Riverside County. Becerra is on course for a massive win in November
It's entirely possible that in the next few days, Becerra will take the lead in both San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Hilton is going to get blown out of the water in November. He won't get 40%. He may struggle to hit 35%.

One of the key stories of the California primary: Xavier Becerra's strength in the Bay Area. You don't win a primary as a Democrat without putting up big numbers in the Bay Area and he's doing that. Late ballots may shift toward Steyer, but Becerra's Bay Area strength gets him a Top Two finish.
Wow, the subheadline is even worse. This reads like an opinion piece, implying her interest in transit funding is somehow about her personal experience rather than about transportation policy or that this is a massive expansion of bus service.
