On July 1, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman said overall crime and violent crime were up under @governor.ny.gov Kathy Hochul - leaving out it was based on 2022 statistics. Today, asked about crime increases in his county since he took office in 2022, Blakeman said: “That’s during COVID.”
