I have way, way too much film to process and scan, as I have been severely slacking. In the meantime, pigeons. #photography #birdphotography #wildlifephotography #wildlife #birdsinflight
Couple more from the cricket. I'm very into Pan F+ at the moment, it gives exactly the tones I'm looking for from my B&W. Bit of a pain being ISO 50 but it pushes to 100 alright if needed. #photography #analoguephotography #analogphotography #filmphotography #streetphotography
Haven’t posted some photos here in a while, so here’s a couple of Kodak Gold shots from the cricket. Yes the rogue arm annoys me. 📷 Rolleiflex 3.5F Planar 🎞️ Kodak Gold 200 #photography #analoguephotography #analogphotography #filmphotography
By contrast, Kodak Gold on 120 format cameras is absolutely my jam. This feels more real to me, somehow (although this was not taken on a rainy day). Also, bonus dog butt. 📷 Rolleiflex 3.5F Planar 🎞️ Kodak Gold 200 #photography #filmphotography
Some autumn colour on Ektar 100, having fun with the Minolta 50mm f/1.4 which is very civilised when stopped down and bizarre wide open. #photography #streetphotography #filmphotography
Shooting a Rolleiflex with f/3.5 maximum aperture at night is an interesting experience. Pretty pleased with how these turned out on Delta 3200. 📷 Rolleiflex T 🎞️ Ilford Delta 3200 #photography #streetphotography #filmphotography #monochrome
Tried shooting some pushed HP5+ at night on a Minolta SR-T 303 and I'm kinda digging it - the added contrast from being shot at 1600 really suits the bright internal lights/dark exterior of shops and bars. #photography #streetphotography #filmphotography
Looks like Sony have fixed one of my major complaints with their AF system on their top-end cameras, which is nice to see! This was an absolute pain in the arse for birds in flight on the A9III I briefly owned. #photography
Decided to take a day for myself and sort out part of my own backlog of repairs. Stripped, cleaned, and regreased this Mamiya 150mm f/4 which had the dual fun of split grease and sand, but optically it was great and so worked out a bit of a bargain for £30 now I've fixed it up. #cameras
Somehow never noticed this old sign before in an area I walk through regularly. Mono profile with +3/-3 on highlights/shadows on the Bf, for those interested. 📷 Sigma Bf, 35mm f/2 DG #photography #streetphotography #monochrome
I did eventually figure out the names of the bugs in this video, and considering I don't shoot much macro I'm pretty happy with how the photos turned out.
Street shot on the Sigma Bf that I’m pretty pleased with. Cine profile set to +5. #photography #streetphotography #sigmabf
Adding this to my whimsical photo collection. #photography #analogphotography #streetphotography #harmanphoenixii
Took me most of today but I've got a pretty good idea of how to scan Phoenix II now. I'll be posting brief guides and Negative Lab Pro presets for new film stocks over on my Patreon, for those interested: www.patreon.com/posts/136761... #photography #analogphotography #streetphotography
Bad: the shutter of the Leica IIIf I bought recently is indeed full of holes Good: it produces crazy shit like this Shot on Harman Red, which looks pretty great too. #photography #analogphotography #filmphotography
Forgot about this shot from the other day. I've been quite liking this Fujifilm C200 LUT I got from somewhere on the S5II - has a pleasing look and I'm pretty happy with the JPEGs from it. 📷 Lumix S5IIX, 50mm f/1.8 #streetphotography #photography
Figure I'll repost the video link once with one of my favourite images of the bunch. Doesn't he look happy to be at the beach? #filmphotography #analogphotography #shittycamerachallenge #starwars #believeinfilm
A hungry mouse tries to reach the remaining bird seed on a windowsill. #photography #wildlifephotography
Interestingly these weren’t even the first window cleaners I saw out in the torrential rain this morning. At least they were dressed for it, I suppose 😆 #photography #streetphotography
All the big glass buildings outside Cardiff Central do have one upside - interesting reflected sunlight effects 🤔 #photography #streetphotography #monochrome
The more I look at it, the more I like this photo from right at the end of the video - something really satisfying about the light, lines, and way the subject stands out in the crowd. #photography #streetphotography #monochrome
A few more shots from this video. Oxford's a fun location to shoot as it has a great mix of large and small scale streets. I should probably add a section to my website someday with the photo sets from each video. Something else to add to the backlog of ideas 😅 #photography #streetphotography
Quite pleased with how this PhotoLab preset worked out - most of the heavy lifting is being done by the Pro 400H FilmPack profile, but with a few tweaks I've found it works really well for what I want, particularly to tame the Nikon greens. #photography #streetphotography
I feel like this is my Martin Parr-esque-ist photo for a while. I love taking photos through the train windows and this is easily my favourite in a while 😆 #photography #streetphotography #documentaryphotography
Here's one of the images from yesterday that'll be in an upcoming video. Comparing Nikon's B&W profiles won't be the subject of it but I thought this shot showed an interesting comparison between Deep Tone Monochrome and the default 🤔 Which one do you prefer? #photography #streetphotography
I’ve always appreciated that Cardiff Central’s platforms are zero indexed. Just feels right. #programming
Some street shots from today, straight outta camera. I do like the Nikon monochrome profile - really seems to nail the contrast more often than not. 📷 Nikon Z9, 85mm f/1.8s #photography #streetphotography
