This is for our US Friends to give them some sense of how massive the forests are in Canada. Most of the maps floating around at the moment miss the BC Forests. While the Northern Boreal Forests start in Alaska, it pales in comparison to the coverage in Canada.
We are started to get annoyed but not terribly surprised by the ignorance, arrogance and absolute stupidity emanating from the US, it's not just from one side either. Forever Canadian
Our response tp Lutnick, Grier and the rest of cult. The world is watching and guess whose side they will be on, not the US.
I am sure this has been around the block a few times but certainly worth reposting here. Seems pretty accurate to me.
From a post from "I Fucking love Australia" Subscribe page. Pretty much self explanatory.
The US has had a similar process to Canada's new program since the end of the Hoover administration in 1933. So when other countries reciprocate those countries are then accused of unfair trade practices by the US. As noted by Canadian political cartoonist, Michael de Adder
Jean Charest, former Deputy PM of Canada and Premier of Quebec and current appointee to the Prime Minister's council of advisors for the CUSMA negotiations noted recently that with the US negotiators it is all take and not a lot of give. Not a helpful strategy. Never 51
