That first sentence is little more than conspiracy-theory nonsense. Ranzini runs the page, so he gets to make outlandish claims with impunity. The second sentence is simply false. One can go back more than a century in the list of past Ann Arbor mayors to see that the assertion is pure bullshit.
The problem is, if you state an opinion with which he disagrees and you can't support it with concrete evidence, he'll throw the book at you. Has Rabhi ever explicitly said "I oppose upzoning"? Maybe, but probably not, because he refuses to answer any such questions, which itself is suspicious.
