I was in Amsterdam last week at the Bi+ World Conference. It was an amazing three days, with participants from a wide variety of countries and continents. I was feeling as happy as I look in this photo. A week later, I'm still glowing. Photo credit: Lera Manzovitova
50 years as bi+, and definitely not a phase. 💖💜💙 Politics keep shifting, but the need for bi+ programming and education has only increased. Bi+ Visibility Month is coming this September! Book a workshop or keynote for your group today: www.robynochs.com
Just remember: Trump lies about EVERYTHING. And his circle of smarmy sycophantic bobbleheads then go and repeat his lies. This is just one small example. Read more here: wapo.st/3TA3SMC
My favorite bumper sticker this month goes to whoever put "how am I driving, how does an engine even work, how can a loving God cause such agony" on the back of their Mini Cooper.
When we talk about LGBTQ+ advocacy and education, it's vital that we explicitly bring the B into the conversation. If you are looking for a speaker who can break down complex ideas in an accessible, engaging way, I would love to connect. Visit robynochs.com to book a session for your organization.
On June 25, the International Imperial Court & the National LGBTQ Task Force added 7 icons to the National LGBTQ Wall of Honor at the Stonewall Inn. It was breathtaking to speak in honor of bi+ activist Loraine Hutchins, who passed in November. Loraine was a true bicon & dear friend of 35 years.
"Bisexuality is real, I swear." Highly recommend reading this wonderful personal essay by Maren Brooks for The Daily Californian on bisexual visibility, overcoming the pressure to "fit in," and embracing your truth: www.dailycal.org/bisexuality-...
At the Greater Bridgeport Pride Festival in Connecticut, Emanuel Xavier read two of his powerful poems, and I spoke about identifying as bi+ in queer spaces, and about how it's important that we support each other, especially for the more marginalized members of our community.
Me outside the Bridgewater Pride Center with my beautiful new bi fan at the end of the Greater Bridgeport Pride Festival in Connecticut last Saturday. I am so grateful to the folks who organized this event for all the work they put into it and for inviting me to speak at the Festival.
Here's newly minted high-school-graduate Kai -- my brilliant, hard-working, and talented nibling-of-choice -- surrounded by their three aunties-of-choice: Amihan, Marcia, and me. I love my chosen family so much.

Honoring the legendary Loraine Hutchins on June 25 at The Stonewall Inn as she is inducted into the 2026 National LGBTQ Wall of Honor. I am humbled to introduce this bisexual pioneer and ancestor. Join us in NY to celebrate Loraine and her incredible legacy. #LoraineHutchins #StonewallInn #Bisexual
Yesterday was Boston Pride. This amazing human designed this costume, which I believe weighs 18 pounds and wore it all day long. He ended up leading the bi+ contingent which was organized by the Bisexual Resource Center. Everybody looked great! #BostonPride2026 #PrideMonth #BostonPride
New issue of Bi Women Quarterly is out NOW! This issue's theme is "Dear _" Readers were asked to write a letter to someone who has impacted their bi+ identity in some way and let them know how they feel. Read here: www.biwomenquarterly.com

Happy Pansexual & Panromantic Visibility Day! 💖💛💙 Just a reminder that you are seen, you are valid, and you belong... today and every single day. #PanVisibilityDay #Pansexual #Panromantic #BiPlus #VisibilityMatters
Shared this a few weeks ago, but it’s hitting even harder today. A good reminder of where the real issues lie. #AbolishBillionaires #TaxTheRich
Today is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia (#IDAHOBIT). With anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric and actions rising in the U.S., today is more important than ever. We must actively commit to challenging hate every day. 🏳️🌈
Happy 22nd anniversary to marriage equality in MA and 22 years to my partner, Peg! 🏳️🌈 With LGBTQIA+ rights increasingly under threat, the 2003 court ruling remains powerful. Grateful to live in a state that upholds and protects our rights.
Gerrymandering is actively undermining our democracy. We need federal legislation to establish independent commissions and create maps that reflect the true will of the people, not partisan interests. Read this article about the gerrymandering happening now: www.brennancenter.org/our-work/ana...

How broken and twisted is this man that he requires such constant validation? I'm so glad that I won't need to renew my passport until the next administration. #FDT #NoKings #NotMyPresident
The Legal Accountability Center is challenging EEOC Chair Andrea Lucas for using intimidation to undermine DEI and stall anti-LGBTQ+ investigations. We cannot allow the machinery of civil rights to be weaponized for exclusion. Read more: www.lgbtqnation.com/2026/04/the-...

In Boise, Idaho, a new state law banned displaying the Pride flag outside City Hall. So the city wrapped the flagpole in the pride colors. I love this story, which I found at Erin in the Morning -- the best source of trans-related news. www.erininthemorning.com/p/idaho-bann...
Day one, seven hours after returning home from knee surgery. Excellent care and supervision from the medical team at the surgery center and at home. Peg is being wonderful. Also, I don’t think I’m being charged for the supplemental CAT scans which seem to be happening on an ongoing basis.
It’s wonderful to see this retrospective of the "Getting Bi" program I facilitated in Amsterdam in 2025! I’m already looking forward to returning in July 2026 for the Bi+ World Conference. 💖💜💙 Recap: biplus.nl/getting-bi-w... 2026 Info: biplusworldconference.org
