Aotearoa, Tangati Tiriti, Pākehā (Irish, Scottish, English) LGBTQIA+ she/her. I plant things & most times they grow.
Just a quick 25L to The Civic. Love this city. International film festival - the last day. #TāmakiMakaurau #kikorangi
Behold! My 998 piece jigsaw! Love these beautiful puzzles by Tanya Wolfkamp on Waiheke. #kikorangi
Have collected a Waring text from Hard to Find, despatched Dunedin to Auckland. Some people take issue with pen in books - this has a couple of articles pasted into the inside front cover, as well as an owner's mark & date. My day will be made to find notes in the margins. #kikorangi #nzpol
Remembering how in 2021 NZ Post issued stamps celebrating pride. I bought a sheet at the time as it felt like a milestone. Tomorrow I’ll be out in support of trans rights - can’t take anything for granted. We’re a great little country & we’re all the better for each and every one of you. #kikorangi
Happened upon this wee poem today and it's somehow really lifted my spirits. #kikorangi nzpoetryshelf.com/2019/12/11/p...
Enjoying this burn by the Mayor. Not sure what’s jerked his chain but I’m here for it #TāmakiMakaurau
Autumn sun hits different when you’re a cat in a shoebox. No rent, no plans, just vibes. #nzpets #catsinboxes
Between the cats and the hound, all the homemade biscotti has disappeared. I may have left the tin unattended on the coffee table while heading out to Pride. Someone is now feeling a little sorry for themselves. 🇳🇿🐕🐶
The little fella’s enjoying his country escape up north. #nzpets #kikorangi 🐶
My Christmas tree now home to the sweetest caroller and angel #SecretSantaAoNz
I’ve been treated to some treasures by my #SecretSantaAoNZ - absolutely glorious - and such a lovely hand written message - top sleuthing and foraging skills. Thank you and have a wonderful Christmas!
So this guy's on bsky - probably has been for ages and I'm only just realising. I don't want to see his stuff or engage with his lot - I much prefer the relative calm of this place rather than the other one. If you're like me, might be one for your mute or block list #kikorangi
“I will open my eyes when the wind stops blowing.” Little fella went for his first swim today, almost by accident. Chased a dog chasing a ball into the sea. Precious pup doesn’t even like his toes wet. #AotearoaPets #NZPets
Our travels visiting family and exploring beyond Aotearoa’s shores are on the last leg. Last tipple until end of Feb. Looking forward to summer sun and warmth and being back in our own beds #kikorangi
Felixstowe Port against a glorious dusk sky. A pint warmed the cockles before a brisk walk to the in-laws. Quite a different lead up to NY here cf AoNZ. The teen is enjoying spending time with his English grandparents & visiting the places of his early years #Felixstowe #kikorangi
First Xmas with the in-laws in more than a decade. Suffolk coast & the North Sea are a little different to the Waitematā. Some brave souls enjoyed a winter swim.
Left is a narrow leaved hebe. We have similar in the garden and the bees love it
