Brought this home from my parents house on loan from my mom. It was new in the box, never used. Certificate in the manual says it came off the line in January of 1980, making it one of the absolute last ones made. Looking forward to getting to know this camera.

Hey! I have a new song out for the first time in a long time. It’s a cover of Austin noise rock band The Blistering Speeds and I built it out of samples I recorded on public transit in Berlin, but is very calm and melodic. A friend described it as “a new kind of lullaby.”

The cover for my new single, Phenobarbital. Massive plumes of smoke loom over the plains of northern New Mexico.

Hit the 1:2 ratio right on the dot. Damn fine cup of coffee.

A blue green mug with espresso sits on a scale. The scale reads 36g, which, when compared to the 18g dosage used to brew the espresso, means I hit the “ideal” 1:2 ratio exactly.

I bought and then had to return a half frame Olympus Pen FT because the focusing mirror fell off. Even though the focus was definitely not right (probably due to the loose mirror) it sure took some really pretty pictures.

Latte art is my passion. I call this one “Blurry Embarrassed Squid.”

Terrible latte art that, if you squint, might resemble a squid putting its claspers up in embarrassed panic? I don’t know. The coffee was great though.
