I have a 4 mph limit on my electric scooter because in some jurisdictions I can't ride on the sidewalks unless it is limited. Not just a speed limit— the bike is set to go no faster than 4mph. No way am I going to ride in most streets so I willingly had the motor limited.

According to PG&E our power will be out for the next six hours or so for unknown reasons. So no work will get done but two poodles WILL be cuddled. They are playing coy about any involvement in the outage but I have my suspicions.

Reesie acquired a nasty wound on her face. We don't know how it happened-- maybe diving through the shrubs in the garden? It isn't infected, but it's going to take a while to heal. Poor baby.

I don't know about "best" but this is my favorite picture of Gabi. I caught her digging up the new drip lines in the garden. I think she thought she was killing hissing snakes. Anyway, she was SO proud with her muddy muzzle and muddy feet, the Great Huntress.

Probably right. One of ours will lose most of his teeth at an appointment next week. Since we didnt have charge of his health for his 1st 10 years we don't have a lot of control. Jack licking his favorite duck toy.

The shelters are full of free-range poodle mixes (doodles). You don't need to buy them from a breeder. We mostly adopt poodles but Reesie is part chihuahua. We love her but there's no magic to poodle mixes. None of them, including poodles, are truly hypoallergenic— ask any allergist.

Reesie is 18% chihuahua, otherwise all toy poodle. She is charcoal gray with stubby, arthritic legs. She is about 12 years old. Her ear got mangled in a street fight in Sacramento. We adopted her through Muttville in San Francisco.
Perfect doggie for 2 women in their 70s.

My Gabi was a puppy mill survivor, like this sweetie. She was with is for 11 years and was a wonderful companion. She had a few quirks: could not bear being put in a cage or kennel. But she was sweet and loving and I will never forget her.
