#slaythespire2 Rounding out my STS series with Ironclad and Regent! Really pleased with how these all turned out.

slay the spire 2 is giving me everything i want in terms of ironclad lore, thank you @megacrit.com

The Ironclad from Slay the Spire 1/2, being cut open by Vakuu (the four eyed demon in the background) with his own sword. His blood spills out of him in ribbons, some flowing around his wrists and ankles like shackles, and one being directed to the Bloodstained Rose relic that Vakuu can offer in StS 2.

#ultrakill stuff, some new, some old. I end up using a lot of yellow and red for these haha Some spoilers for Fraud, since the last one especially references something that happens in 8-2.

Hell represented by an angelic-looking demon with fork in hand, dipping a seemingly unconscious/helpless V1. Colour palette is a reference to the song Butcher Vanity.

V1 curled up in a fetal position while roots/veins branch out from its body, as if it was in a tree or root system that was growing around it. Reference to the 'FEED US WE WILL GROW' message in level 7-3, placing V1 as analogous to the suicide trees that need blood to 'bloom'.

V1 motionless but conscious, watched by Hell's eye. Two appendages hold up a control bar like one would use to control a puppet or marionette, with the strings tied around V1's elbows, neck, and ankles. A reference to 8-2.

Though little remained of its past life, it longed to fight alongside those it loved most, and so it was forged into a blade."

A whip-like segmented rapier in brassy tones, with a mildly sci-fi bent. It has an aiming pointer at one end. Beside it is the sword's humanization, which carries much of the same shapes in its design.

Having been so diminished by human need, perhaps it's a relief to it to be so lost that it has started to host new life."
