Authors: show me the book covers you made yourself, without AI. I did RUST using photochops of stock art! FUTURE TIDES is photoshop's stamp filter on cityscapes! I commissioned the art for CENTURY OF SAND! I paid a model & photographer for a complete set of poses for my OLESIA ANDERSON series!
Within the next 3-4 months I'm gonna need professional author photos done. I'll get the standard smiling/thoughtful headshots, etc. But I also want to get a bit silly with it. I'm 100% gonna do the Ian Malcolm. Maybe a Tyler Durden or a Marcellus Wallace. Gimme other suggestions, please!
Say what you like about the late Derryn Hinch (and there is a LOT one can say) but he WAS the guy who convinced me to change the title of the epic fantasy that eventually got me representation.
No friend, we understand each other just fine! Timber in Australia is quite expensive-up to $130AUD/m-while steel is only slightly more expensive and lasts a lifetime. Our solar industry is so huge and well subsidised that panels are, absurdly, cheaper again.

Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine has always been one of my dream mags. Thanks to an amazing decade-long collab with Rich Larson, that dream is becoming reality. VISITING SKINS is about a bunch of terrible friends making appalling decisions out in the woods; I hope it'll sink its hooks into you.

THE END. 101,000 words on my (checks notes) 17th novel. It's rough as guts. Characters are inconsistent. Plot points vanish into the ether. The protag has five different competing motivations. It's a pile of mud. But it's good mud and I'm gonna shape it into something real pretty.
