The Hobbit Magic set came out just a week after my birthday, so my roommate split the cost of a box with me for my gift. I pulled some nice stuff in there, but these two are definitely the best ones I got from the set. Now I just need to figure out what to take out from my decks to fit them in...

Well, I suppose you could say I painted at least one Space Marine. It's nice of the blue beakies to paint their armors in Deathskull colors. It's like they're made to be looted.

I also enjoyed it, so I was really glad when my review got quoted on the trade. However, I must confess, that even though this book was my intro to 40k, I've barely painted a single space marine... I'm an ork player.

Some good pulls from the Magic: The Gathering + Marvel set. The card I wanted the most was Squirrel Girl, and she was in my second pack, so I'm satisfied. Even if the part of me that likes Marvel and the part of me that thinks Magic has gone overboard with Universes Beyond are now at war.

Current consensus is: toss a few more scattered corpse bits around, then add a squig tearing off a kriegsman's arm and the fighting snotlings

Making good headway on Wazdakka, but the base is definitely looking empty (and I need to blend the colors together a bit more. So, I'm open to suggestions: what should I decorate the base with?

Haven’t been able to do much mini painting lately due to tendinitis, but I felt recovered enough yesterday to pick up a brush and work on this big guy for a game I’ve been commissioned to run.

Arcade partially inspired one of my favorite recurring D&D NPCs, Paup Quizzem. So we made a few visual nods to him in Paup’s design (mostly the hair and bow tie)

So Magic revealed a bunch of new Marvel cards, but the biggest takeaway for me is: Minsc is worthy of Mjolnir, now he can throw hammers and hamsters! Boo is worthy too, but then, we already knew that.

Played a game of Magic the other day, and I don't think I'll ever have a board state as good as Battle Angels of Tyr + Anduril + Lae'zel + Doubling Season + Terrasymbiosis + Sphere Grid again. I somehow made Delighted Halfling an 11/12 beatstick.

Just got this chibi of my halfling bard/swashbuckler from DemonAtemu, and it looks great! Highly recommend. (And it's to help pay for a very good dog's vet bill, so that's important too)

I've been dealing with tendinitis for the past several weeks, which has made mini painting difficult, but my wrists are on the mend. So I painted up this Psycho Red miniature to see if I’m recovered enough to do some painting.

This is probably the most annoying puzzle for a Riddler-themed thing I could have ever come up with. But there is an answer, and the clues are all there. Just don't expect the answer to be all that satisfying.
