Last Helsinki bimble before heading to the airport and on to Gdansk.
Proud dad as the boy graduates with a degree in aeronautical engineering. Daughter 1 next year and daughter 2 the following.
12th century Croxden Abbey. Dissolved on the orders of Thomas Cromwell during the reign of Henry VIII. Always a peaceful spot for a 5min pit stop at around 50km.
Photos from my Staffordshire lanes wander on my winter Ti. Hopefully the red rocket (spoke) will be sorted tomorrow. The grey ghost (bearings) too.
Abraham Darby’s Ironbridge at Coalbrookdale. The world’s first cast iron bridge which pre-dates the USA.
Very warm and very breezy. The road off the top of The Wrekin is in an absolutely shocking state. You fly down 700m of brand new tarmac into the wooded bit, which is less road, more a series of traps designed to kill you.
Certainly better than the winter months! #Staffordshire #rural #roadcycling #fuckcancer.
A brisk 110km spin out to Shropshire today. Barely a car to be seen in the lanes but some of those lanes have not wintered well. They are more reminiscent of a WW1 battlefield.
Hector is 3. He’s very much my best mate. My daughter dressed him up.
