Talks mostly about: football, F1, video games, film & TV, occasionally a bit of marketing. Long suffering Tottenham fan and former season ticket holder. From North West England. #COYS
Managed to tear my bicep on holiday last week (don't ask). This is 9 days after the fact. Can't say I recommend it, although it's significantly less painful than a torn hamstring.
Had a great day out at #TheOpen today! Pretty incredible to have something like this on your doorstep. Captured the moment Lucas Herbert missed his par putt on the 18th to set a new Open and course record too.
Spotted in Churchtown, Southport ahead of The Open officially starting tomorrow. Yep, that's a crochet Tommy Fleetwood. #TheOpen
I had no idea this was a thing but surely this is the worst possible line up for a World Cup show. Piers Morgan, John Terry and Simon Jordan. Yikes.
Still not managed to go 38-0, even with a team full of 90+ ranked players. 38-0.app
Me and Dom have the same injury, exactly. This is my hamstring 8 days after tearing it pretending I was still young enough to play football. I still can't walk properly. Apologies for bringing this level of sexiness to your timeline.
This form is actually ridiculous for relegation candidates. It just doesn't ever happen this way. Very unlucky for Spurs (of course).
Elfsborg won thanks to a late set piece having been second best throughout. Much like the Premier League this year then.
Elfsborg v Djurgarden for me tonight. The standard was pretty low, but two sets of passionate supporters, albeit a weird atmosphere for someone used to English football. The fans at either end seem to rhythmically chant regardless of what happens on the pitch.
Never mind all the nonsense, this is the true definition of Spursy. How many times have we suffered before a rule change takes effect?
Interesting comments from Mikey Moore about Ange, given he was touted as someone that could come in as an interim manager to put an arm round the players' shoulders and remind them how good they are. He's often spoken of as being quite aloof and distant. Very far from a Redknapp type character.
Nice to see a 4-4-2 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again tonight... #COYS
This is admittedly pretty alarming from Sky Sports on Spurs. O'Hara used it to highlight a lack of effort from Spurs players, but it could equally be a lack of fitness I suppose. Either way, it's not great at all. We regularly topped the league for this under Poch and presumably Ange as well. #COYS
Van de Ven in particular looked very dejected leaving the field today. At the moment, it's hard to imagine either of him or Romero at the club at the start of next season. I'm sure we'll spend the £150m+ that we get for them really, really well though. We're great at replacing players. #COYS
Thought this was quite an interesting observation from Anthony Gordon. Spurs clearly aren't winning too many duels and moments don't seem to be going our way.
I don't especially think there's anything wrong with what Thomas Frank has said here. I do think there's something wrong with how few through balls we've attempted this season though. #COYS
Went to the Wallace & Gromit exhibition at The Harris in Preston today. Queues down the street to get in!
Van de Ven also spoke fairly recently about his relationship with Ange, and how he and Cuti both pleaded with him to change their tactics in the Europa League. Whilst the players obviously liked him, it's clear they had some misgivings about what they were asked to do.
