Our hotel in Beijing had fake books! “Architecture and Design” was a chapter of The Hobbit repeated over and over, and “Light of Armenia” was a YA romance novel that abruptly ended mid-sentence. I am annoyed when reading is used as an aesthetic, but this was so funny to me.
