Flick thinks as hard as she can, to no avail.

An 8-panel comic, drawn in a low-resolution, black-and-white style.
A toothed creature wears a sticker that says “SALE.” It gestures towards a hanging cage, containing a wig. It says, “I’m selling Jim’s hair for $1.”
Eyeguy shouts, “$2!”
The seller clarifies, “It is not an AUCTION!”
Eyeguy continues, “$3!” (Not 3 factorial. Grow up.)
The seller sees that there are now 3 copies of Jim’s hair. “Holy huacamol e, kid. My stock, is INCREASING!”
Eyeguy cheers, “YIPEE! YAHOO!”
This panel is duplicated six more times, to fit within a single, larger panel.
It is then duplicated again, overlapped on itself, creating a visual mess. He is cheering, though! This is excellent.

A four-panel comic.
Flick carries a stack of boxes up a sloped sidewalk.
Cabbage, her robot, follows behind.
Flick looks back, noticing a label above Cabbage’s head. Its name is written out, and Flick notices that the word “bag” within the name is emphasized.
She goes to reach for it, but the label floats out of reach.
Flick goes back to carrying the boxes, now grumpy, as Cabbage’s expression is unchanged, the label still far above it.

I thought I was really cool for reading dictionaries for fun when I was younger .. At least I did keep that interest of learning/using more words

A three-panel comic.
Flick, Arsenic, and Chloe are gathered together.
They think aloud, "A group name...? 'The Scoundrels,' 'The Ruffians?"
Cabbage approaches them, asking, "HOW ABOUT MISCRE-"
Before it can finish talking, the three have already buried under a pile of dirt. Its legs stick out of the top, as the others turn their backs in a monochrome, harshly-lit display of power and ruthlessness.

A seven-panel comic.
Flo presents a tray, "Guess who made cookies!?"
Flick and Soup get one each. Flick exclaims, "Ooh! Chocolate chip! My favorite!"
Flo looks at her anxiously. Flick takes a bite. "RAISIN?"
Flo looks down in disappointment.
Flick is quick to reassure her, "No! Uh- It's OK! We love raisins!"
Flo is relieved, saying, "Oh good! I'll make some next time..."
Flick and Soup look at her with a beautiful wonder in their eyes.
Flick quickly says, "NO that's OK." (The "no" is large, and made up of smaller "no's".)

A two-panel comic.
Lead enters the restaurant. She asks, "'Scuse me, do you allow service animals?"
Berry handles a stack of something, and looks back to respond, "Of course!"
As he goes back to whatever he's doing, Lead returns with a gigantic horned monster. (Its name is Rumor!)

A seven-panel comic.
Flick points at herself and says, "My eye color is red!"
Flo points at herself and says, "Mine's gold!"
Soup, oh poor Soup, points at themself, with a lone exclamation mark.
They do not seem to have a distinct eye color.
Chloe does not point at herself; she stands still, surrounded by a dark aura.
Flick politely asks her, "What's yours?"
Chloe responds, "'Whuzzi.'"
As Flick begins to search her mind for what color that could possibly be, Chloe begins to snicker.
She interrupts Flick's thinking, yelling, "Whuzzi-to you!?"
The power of this joke evaporates Flick in a concentrated beam of energy.

Flo holds a brush and explains, "The humidity KINDA messed up her look..."
Soup is covering their eyes with their hands.
Flo points and lightheartedly demands, "Just... don't laugh!"
Soup gives two thumbs up, the brim of their hat obscuring their vision.
A spotlight beams down onto Flick, who walks in. Her feathers are puffed out in a way that makes her look like a pompom. She says a simple "Hi."
Soup looks in complete surprise.
They try to hold in a laugh, puckering their entire face with all their strength and visibly shaking.

"Is that... a flying saucer!?" Indeed, one seems to fly over the city.
Flo watches it through binoculars, afraid and surprised.
Flick smirks and retorts, "A 'flying sauce,' 'er what?"
A beam, presumably from the saucer, shines down on Flick. The two are frozen in shock.
Suddenly, a tomato falls and splats on Flick's head.

An eight-panel comic.
Flick runs a stand, offering name changes for $50.
Chloe approaches her and asks, "So... whatcha got?"
Flick pulls out a brilliant name that shines with majesty: "GOLFBALL".
Chloe silently glares at her, causing her to shed a single sweat droplet.
Flick proceeds to show more names. "DIRT JR., SANDAL, SKIN GRAFT III."
All to no avail.
We then see her alone, wing covering her face in disappointed embarrassment. The text on the stand is changed, now offering name changes for negative $50.

Cabbage lays motionless on the control panel of The Machine, smoke emitting from its head. Flick pokes its forehead and yells, "Quit that!"
Cabbage jots awake, the smoke stopping instantly.
It excuses itself, "Apologies. Burnout." This doesn't seem to aleviate any of Flick's visible concern.

A four-panel comic.
Flick is distraught! Her 8-Ball toy is broken and leaking everywhere.
She intently looks over to Cabbage, who stares absentmindedly at its machine.
She goes over and gives Cabbage's head a pretty rough shaking up, asking, "Cabbage, should I have a burger or macaroni?"
After letting go, Cabbage is dizzy and seeing stars. Seemingly in response to Flick, its pupils change shape to that of a fish.
