We didn't quite manage the actual eclipse, we tried, but we are surrounded by tall trees and houses, and then I got sidetracked by the fact that the trees were focused on the bedroom wall... the light was just wonderful

Some cars are works of art, a superb colour choice for an amazing vehicle. I used to have a Triumph Spitfire - it was lovely and very small!
Lovely! I'm in the UK but we have/had a litter of 3 rescue kittens - unfortunately the boy only lived to be 13 , but the girls are now 15 and doing well. Here they are at about a year or so, all three, being interested in something in the garden...
This is Pickle who, having been out in the cold and wet tonight, has decided my lap is the best place to dry off. She then has the audacity to look adorable.
It's a beautiful tree - some people have no soul, I'm sorry. I chose my house because of it's immense Silver Birch

Not my sort of whimsy, but I do look at things like this antique sewing box and think "I need to find a black haired doll to lie in it" (It reminds me of Snow White in her coffin pictures)
Thankfully I live in a Conservation area where all the trees are valued. I have lived here for 20 years and had to remove some dying/dead trees, but I have planted a good dozen dwarf fruit trees too.
What about the Minack? Not got the age, but still in use, a magical experience
