Check out my tomato, cucumber, basil, oregano, and mozzarella salad!🥗 I grew the tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, and oregano. I dressed it with extra virgin olive oil, a bit of balsamic syrup, salt, and pepper. I like adding cucumbers to a caprese salad to add a bit of crunch. 🍽️

Suns out! Went for a hike, got a bit lost, went for a swim, got stung by a jellyfish (think they were baby Portuguese man-o-war. 10/10 day 😂
OMG, they really are! In some areas, they are almost like fences or guard rails along the roads, just beautiful! Found some purple ones off the side of a hiking trail

From a few days ago when it wasn’t raining: a parade for Sao Jorge’s Day. They are going to the community center to perform for those living in a retirement home.
On my hike, there were also pretty flowers, cool trees, and of course, CATS, living at the fumaroles! #cats #catsofbluesky #azores

Still pretty wet with 100% humidities, so I hiked around a crater lake in Furnas and saw fumaroles where people still cook food to this day! You can see the mounds and lids where the food is cooked by the heat from the volcano.
