Can't even begin to list all the ways that Hanna is a gift to me and to our family. Happy birthday to the best walking partner in all of our journeys.♥️🎁
Wonderful weekend trip to Chicago. Sweet time with extended family, nephew's wedding, sister's birthday, sweet time with old friends, and great road trip time with family.💍🎂🥂🚙
Last class session of summer Hebrew & OT Introduction. Teaching from the road today, thankful for technology that makes it possible.📜📚💻🖥️ #OT5104 #DTS #EmbassySuites
So good! Loved Brand New Day and the way they build on the previous Spidey and Marvel storylines. The emotional weight and impact are well earned. #SpidermanBrandNewDay 🕸️🍿🎬
So thankful today as Hanna and I celebrate 32 years. Looking back means there's a lot more life in our rearview mirror, but I can't imagine a better road trip than the one we're on. 💍🥂
The Carmen Christi keeps me tethered - a beautiful description of Jesus. This is Jesus. This is what I long to be.
Celebrating with our youngest as he graduates h.s. We love you and we're proud of you, Christopher. Godspeed. #Classof26🎓 #Wildcats🐾
The movie poster says it all - #TheMandalorianandGrogu is a fun adventure in the style of an Indy swashbuckling romp. Loved seeing the post-Endor Star Wars galaxy that Favreau & Filoni bring to life. Sigourney Weaver is cool as a Rebel leader & of course, #Grogu! 🍿🎞️
A nice space for walks within the city. I like that I can get some steps during lunch when I'm on the Dallas campus.🏙️ #GriggsPark
Texas skies after spring storms. Pausing to appreciate moments and sights like this.🌄 #TexasSkies
The right to have your vote count, to be heard where laws and policies are made is a matter of love for neighbor. #Leviticus19
Another year... Saw another year of wins, struggles, growth, and discouragements. I also felt hopeful seeing God at work, seeing students experiencing God's goodness & grace as they learn, grow, and experience the Spirit's forming work. Take heart, God is faithful. 📚📖🎓 #seminarylife
Missing my mom today but also celebrating Hanna, an amazing mom and the rock of our family. #MothersDay can be complicated, bittersweet, or even grief-filled. I hope you all were able to mark this day in a way that was meaningful for you. 💐
One of my favorite parts of the year - commencement season. Congratulations and Godspeed, Class of 2026! Celebrating with all who are marking their graduation and commencements this year.🎓📚💐 #DTS #classof2026🎓
When a colleague visits Dallas and asks for good Korean cold noodles (물냉면), Hampyong Noodle house is a good place to go. Warm day means 물냉면 hits the spot. 😋🍜🇰🇷 #DallasKoreanFoodscene
When Dallas gives you a cool overcast day, take the walk. Enjoy these days when you can. #scenesfromawalk #WhiteRockLake
Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here for he has risen. Indeed. Happy Easter! 🌄🌱
Reflecting on Jesus' crucifixion and my heart is especially heavy this year with the horrors of war, the weight of injustice, brokenness, and suffering all around. It all feels so amplified. I feel a deeper sense of Jesus' suffering and the weight of his death today. ✝️
His mercies are new every morning. Thankful to wake up, reflect, and regain some perspective after a rough day. So thankful for Hanna, for family & friends who are present and supportive. God's faithful, he's present, he's our anchor.⚓
I don't like the time changes required by DST, but I am glad that we can take our evening walks in the light. Still takes getting used to the fact that it would've been dark at this time a few days ago. ☀️🌄
In a season where I'm wrestling with worry, the word was clear and spoken to my heart today in service. He cares, he provides. 📜🙏🏼🍞
I long for this prophecy to be fulfilled. #Isaiah📜 #PrinceofPeace👑 #NoMoreWar
A privilege to be part of the "Re-read Her Story." Symposium. Great presentations, including Drs. Sandra Glahn and Jennifer Powell McNutt. Thank you to Drs. Josephine Stringer, Lynn Cohick, and the CWL team. Enjoyed my first time at the beautiful Lanier Theological Library. #CWL #VisualMuseum
A meaningful time of reflection thanks to the musicians from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra who performed Haydn's Seven Last Words today in chapel. So beautiful. Thankful for these musicians and their art. Powerful way to start Ash Wednesday. 🎻✝️ #artmatters #DSO #Haydn
Beautiful day at White Rock. Got to see the goats tending the landscape. It was good to get out and walk. I needed to get away from the ugliness on my news feeds. 🌅 #ScenesFromAWalk #WhiteRockLake
A long walk in the cold night air was a good way to calm my heart and mind. And some delicious budae Jjigae, 부대찌개 (Korean army base stew) was the perfect way to warm up after. Comfort food is called such for a reason.♨️🍲🍜🥟
