Noticed that the Other Father in Coraline has orange monkey slippers and now I'm wondering if this is an intentional reference to fucking Monkeybone considering the fact both were directed by Henry Sellick

This movie should NOT have been as hard to get in 4K as it has been, and i'm still pissed at Amazon for cancelling my original pre-order

Very flawed film but also one I think has a lot to appreciate and learn from and is a very hopeful movie we really need in times like these. Also very well directed and visually stunning, prob one of the best examples of cel shaded CG anime I've seen. Like fuuuuck man this movie looks NICE.

This movie is NOTHING like this main key art that they used everywhere that makes it look like an epic about a badass warrior princess when it's moreso a tender and emotional romance story that just has a couple epic grand setpieces. The key art on stuff like the steelbook sells it WAY better.
