What a special panel #dighum2026 in Vienna on how to sustain our digital commons @dighum.wien EU's "digital sovereignty" approach needs to include funding for our digital communities, which already providing alternatives, like open protocols. Public procurement needs to buy open, not just European.

We had a very valuable non-public workshop @dighum.wien #Vienna about building public #infrastructure & organising #digital transformation in public administration. There were many experts on public #procurement exchanging knowledge about (legislative) problems with public procurement & #opensource
