In the othe section, Hunter, Willow, and the Bat Queen are prominent. Hunter has three of the Bat Queen's batlike children on him, and a fourth, oddly washed out child clinging to his leg. Willow, along with her bee palisman, has thrown her hands out to the viewer while exclaiming "Welcome to the Palistrom Grove!"

Gravity Falls: Lost Legends, check the text on the right page...

I admit I'm a sucker for the pocket knives that look like a porcupine had very confused amorous relations with a tool cabinet.

A pocket knife, ostensibly, albeit one which is about a foot thick due to having literally 83 separate tools within the metal sandwich that is it outer structure.

Sick fics and hurt/comfort are always lovely. ^^ I'd written a bad Dragonlance fic back in 2003 and then nothing until 2024 when TOH dragged me kicking and screaming into the fandom. XD Now I've got this massive fic cooked up and it'll never let me go. I've even commissioned a bunch of art for it.

Luz really be like "Will you do me the honor being my study partner?" SMDH the crew seriously knew exactly what they were doing. This was the episode where we started noticing that they were hiding pride flag coloration on objects and in the background.

That bit in Covention when Luz shows her the light, too. It's probably the first time we see her looking other than neutral, irritation, or a scowl. At least until Hooty's Moving Hassle where we get this, where she just looks... distant. Lots of those little hints that she's not JUST a mean girl.

I'll just post this little comic from MoringMark, who I can't recommend enough after you finish the series. He has nearly 2000 Owl House comics to his name, though there's lots of spoilers, so!

Luz, Gus, and Willow are walking along, chatting amiably. Some distance behind them, Amity is sweating and trying very hard and very visibly not to look at Luz, and beside her, Skara and Boscha have obviously clocked her struggling.

Suddenly, a torn piece of pink paper, tossed on the wind, slaps directly into Luz's face. She catches and examines it. "Wait," she says, "is this... the other half of Amity's letter?" Amity issues a panicked squeak.

Luz squints at the note. "Who the heck is... ZNF?"

She is holding the note upside down and misreading Amity's handwriting.

"Must be a new student," she concludes. Gus and Willow facepalm. So do Skara and Boscha, although Amity just issues a relieved sigh.

From his castle, Belos, wearing a "Number One Lumity Fan" pin and watching through a pair of binoculars, facepalms as well. Next to him, Kikimora just looks disgusted.

All the way back in the human realm, Camila also facepalms, but then remarks, "I have no idea why I did that."

Was thinking of The Owl House myself. The artists loved sneaking pride flag coloration into scenes, which is much easier in a technicolor fantasy world with animated media.
